Cityzen is a multidisciplinary design practice based in East Sussex.
We can provide the full design service- from concept through to construction, and hold our own professional memberships with associated Code of Conduct, and full Professional Indemnity Insurance.
Our engineering brings added value to our design work. We specialise in sustainability, renewable technologies and are CIBSE (Chartered Institute of Building Services Engineers) accredited Low Carbon Consultants. We design in energy efficiency from day one.
We aim to bring together clients with contractors and suppliers that care about their workmanship and the environment thus producing better buildings to live and work in.
We have a strong network of contacts within other practices, the construction sector and beyond. We have links to the University of Brighton and its School of Environment and Technology and provide visiting lecturers on a range of topics to enhance the student’s knowledge of the real world.
Our staff have worked for a wide range of clients with diverse requirements, our technical insight into the nature of buildings and close links with other building professionals, research establishments and charities means we are always striving to be at the forefront of current legislation, technology and design.
